At PianoWorks, helping pianists and music lovers realize their goals is far more than our family business - it is our passion. Founded in 1993, PianoWorks started out as a premier restoration facility, specializing in the rebuilding of vintage pianos by Steinway & Sons, Mason & Hamlin, and other fine brands. Because of the quality of our workmanship, we were approached by Bösendorfer and Schimmel to sell their new pianos in the Atlanta area market.
From that moment forward, the retail operation of our business has never stopped growing and expanding. We have added more brands of new pianos, used pianos, digital pianos, extensive piano moving and tuning services, a full fledge print music department, and so much more. Today, PianoWorks is the largest piano dealer in Georgia, and we have the best in-store selection of piano music around.
As our name aptly indicates, we aim to serve any and all needs of the piano teaching and playing community. We don't sell other musical instruments, neither do we carry print music for other instruments. By keeping a narrow focus on piano, we are able to offer the best possible shopping experience to piano players and teachers.

Don has spent a lifetime earning the respect and trust of piano teachers and performers alike. PianoWorks' strong and trustworthy reputation is a direct result of his hard and honest work. A master rebuilder and piano technician (RPT), he is the expert on all technical details and advice. Also, he's the only one around here with gray hair, so you know he's wise.
